Our client, a well-established international franchise that manufactures a global brand is seeking to appoint an experienced, analytical, and integrous individual to the position of Risk and Compliance Officer. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing assurance and consultation services to the organisation’s risk management, governance and control systems. This position reports to the Head of Finance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing, implementing, and monitoring of company policies and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Process organisation wide risk assessments.
- Conducting investigations for any irregularities and non-compliance issues, accidents or incidents in the organisation.
- Conducting internal stock audits and reviews at regular intervals to ensure that compliance procedures are regularly followed.
- Ensuring that the organisation is compliant and licensing is up to date, adhering to industry rules and regulations.
- Managing site security and supervision of security staff and systems.
- Ensuring that all employees are updated on the organisation’s policies, regulations, and processes.
Qualifications, Skills & Attributes:
- Degree in Business Management, Accounting, IT or related field.
- A qualification in Forensic Accounting or Risk Management is an added advantage.
- At least 4 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Experience in the manufacturing industry is an added advantage.
- In-depth distribution and stock control knowledge and experience.
- Must have strong analytical and investigative capabilities.
- Report writing skills are essential.
- Problem solving skills and must pay attention to detail.
- High emotional intelligence with integrity and good interpersonal skills.
